The inaugural 2009 season of the Professional American Beach Soccer League (PABSL) will come to a dramatic close this Sunday, November 8th, in Santa Cruz, California on the Main Beach. The 2009 PABSL Championship Match will showcase the two undefeated sides of Team 99 from Santa Cruz and Team Pugg from the Los Angeles area. The game to decide 3rd and 4th will be between Team Golme and the San Francsico Beach Soccer Club.

This is an historic occasion that marks the first Championship of the only professional beach soccer league in North America. PABSL is the training ground for many US Beach Soccer National Team players with more than 10 PABSL players currently in the US Beach Soccer National Team player pool.
